Script Editor Ribbon
The Script Mode Ribbon offers quick access to a range of commonly used tools, and some controls for the script editor itself (style options).

Run Function
When in Formulate script mode, the Run Query button (orange highlight above) tests the script and show if it is valid or not. You can, alternatively, click F2 at any time to run your query.

Clear All |
Clear everything from the canvas. This option is only enabled once you have begun to create your script on the canvas. |
Metadata

Refresh Metadata |
Refresh the data model metadata, including dimensions, elements, and business logic. |
Open a dialog to see any one-off internal parameters. |

Open your formulation in Discover right away. The Custom Formula is automatically added to both the discovery canvas and your measures list. |

Open a new List, Formula, KPI, Parameter, or Column on a new tab, using the current data model. |

Increase Font |
Increase font size step-wise. |
Decrease Font |
Decrease font size step-wise. |
Design Theme |
Change the appearance of the text and background used in your script editor. You may want to do this to improve script readability, for personal comfort, and so on. By default, Dark Mode is selected. |
Pretty Print |
Click to reformat the script into a more readable structure using consistent indents. |
